Wear your heart on your sleeve.

A lot of ’90s trends have made a comeback this year, and one that’s still going strong into next season is logomania. Those ostentatious LV logos are fashion faux pax no more — now, the bigger the logo, the better. Aside from bags, designers from Tommy Hilfiger to Versace have been trotting out their logos on clothes as well:
The trend has even extended from just logo-encrusted tops to statement and graphic tees — good news if you’re like me and have a closet full of t-shirts from college. Not sure how to wear the trend without looking too basic? Below we’ve rounded up nine street style-worthy ways to style a graphic tee.
1. Model Off Duty
A pair of heels can dress up even the most basic outfit, including the t-shirt + jeans combo, with the added bonus of making your legs look longer. Go with block heels to keep it comfortable.
2. Girl Next Door
Pair your tee with your favorite shorts or denim skirt for a look that’s perfect for warm sunny days, especially with sandals. Take a cue from Aimee Song and grab some trendy micro sunnies and a trusty crossbody to complete the casual chic vibe.
3. Casual Friday
Another way to dress up the t-shirt + jeans combo is by throwing on a blazer. With skinny jeans and ballet flats, you’ll look streamlined and polished; with boyfriend jeans and loafers, you’ll be rocking a menswear-inspired look. Either way, you’ll look fab.
4. Contrast Queen
Play with contrasting textures and styles by pairing your graphic tee with a sequined skirt (if this is a little extra for your taste, a leather skirt works too). Black booties add even more interest without being too much.
5. Athleisure Attitude

Alternatively, lean into the whole casual vibe of a t-shirt and go full-on athleisure with a pair of track bottoms and sleek sneaks. Check out #ZCrew Jessa Velasquez to see how it’s done.
6. Layer Up
Smarten up your tee by layering it over a collared button-down shirt. Wear with a pleated skirt for a kind of schoolgirl vibe, or go the opposite end of the spectrum and tuck into mom jeans.
7. Double Denim
Pull off two ’90s trends in one OOTD by wearing your tee with double denim.
8. Maxi Monochrome
Another way to play with contrasts is to match your boxy t-shirt with a maxi skirt with some feminine flair — think ruffles or an asymmetrical hem. A black-and-white color scheme gives the look a little bit of edge.
9. Modern Workwear
Hop on the season’s tailoring trend and swap out your usual blouse for a graphic tee to go with your blazer and trousers. It’s an interesting way to switch up your usual workwear without going too casual.
