For the oily skin ladies, here is your most needed beauty hacks to keep your skin looking matte! Forget about using countless blotting papers and splurging on loose powders that simply do not do the trick for our large pores. Care for your skin the right way and do some prep work before the application of your makeup. Now you can have a fresh face throughout the day without the trouble of touch ups!
1) Charcoal Mask
A charcoal mask is a must have for all oily skin ladies! It is probably the only product that is going to draw out all the impurities from your heavily clogged pores. There are so many masks out there from enzyme infused ones to the extent of gold infused facial therapies. Whatever fanciful skincare product there may be, nothing levels up to a traditional charcoal mask!
2) Milk of Magnesia
Milk of magnesia has been the most talked about by beauty gurus from across the board. Some say it works and some say it doesn’t. So how would you know! Try it out on one of your lazy Sundays and see the results! I suggest doing a patch test on your wrist before going for the full face. You don’t want to break out on the expanse of mattifying your skin do you?
3) Mixing primers
Considering the rave for primers, most of us would have already picked our holy grail mattifying priming potion by now! But here is the thing! Especially for oily skin ladies, our sebum production is going to vary on different parts of our skin. So to get that under control, try a silican based primer for your T-zone and an oil free cream based one for the rest of your face!
4) Lemon water toner
Lemon water is the best for cleansing oily skin. Whilst, all of us know that drinking lemon water is great for us to get rid of our impurities internally, you need to get it on your skin as well! Mix a few drops of lemon juice with cucumber extract and enjoy the cooling effect from the natural ingredients instantly! Although you might have a tingling effect once you put it on, the results will last you for at least a good 4 hours. For those with sensitive skin, be sure to do a patch test before applying it on your face!
