Sigma — Defining Beauty

This is further reflected in the many patents they have been awarded with since their inception for innovative state of the art beauty products such as an apparatus for drying brushes, brush cleaning gloves, precision brushes that make them the go to brand for all make up enthusiasts.

1. What made you want to be a part of MMAZM?
I want to explore new things and yeah, hopefully I’ll learn something on the way!
2. Name three of your favourite models. Why do you look to them for inspiration?
Liu wen, ming Xi, coco rocha. They are the ones that make really good photos apart from the ones that naturally have pretty faces.
3. What makes you unique?
Probably me being extremely introverted joining this contest.
4. Did you have prior modelling experience before joining MMAZM?
Not really. I went casting once, but that’s about it. No callback! 🙂
5. Have your family and friends been supportive of you entering MMAZM?
Haven’t told anyone yet actually, but I’m sure they’ll support me!
6. Who are some of the designers you would love to work with?
Consuelo castiglioni!! Love marni. Heather Williams and Alexander Wang
7. Your favourite things to do in your free time?
Watching TV series marathon in my pajamas with some chips and iced tea. Weehee!
Singapore — @sharmintzxc
1. What made you want to be a part of MMAZM?
To be honest, I’ve been waiting for so long for Zalora to have a model search. I even tried to apply for the Fit Model, but its only for males sadly. And when I got to know Zalora has this contest, I just screamed and I could not contain my excitement. And everyone in my family and friends know how much modelling means to me! So why not? Hehehe
2. Name three of your favourite models. Why do you look to them for inspiration?
Gisele Bundchen, Klarie Kloss and Taylor Hill! I love Gisele Bundchen the most, her walk is just amazing and everything about her screams ‘ MODEL MATERIAL ‘ . As for Klarie,I love how shes the new era model but she never let that fact eat her alive. Shes just so humble and beautiful and I guess that what makes me look up to her. For Taylor Hill, I was amazed how from someone who got bullied for being ‘different’ in school could go so far. And how she showed her bullies that she might not own the world but definitely the catwalk hehehe!
3. What makes you unique?
I have a scar in between my eye and eyebrows. To some its a turn off, but to me its what people close to me might remember me for!
4. Did you have prior modelling experience before joining MMAZM?
Yes I do. I was featured in the Malay News paper, Berita Harian! Because I won 2nd runner up for this Modelling Competition. I got to walk in front of our beautiful local model Charmaine Harn for Guess Girl search. And also walked for Singapore Fashion Runway, it was truly an amazing experience. There’s a couple more but these are the highlights of my experiences!
5. Have your family and friends been supportive of you entering MMAZM?
Yes, and I’m grateful for it.
6. Who are some of the designers you would love to work with?
Michael Kors, I love him and everything about his fashion line. I can’t think of anyone else, only him!
7. Your favourite things to do in your free time?
Play around with makeup hehehe!

Malaysia — @sitikhadijahhalim
1. What made you want to be a part of MMAZM?
MMAZM is a platform for me to have a concrete career in modelling industry. Big step for me to go further.
2. Name three of your favourite models. Why do you look to them for inspiration?
Kiko Mizuhara, Candice Swanepoel and Chanel Iman. They all have unique features, great sense in modelling aspirations and also from different backgrounds. So each of them gives me different chills!
3. What makes you unique?
I may be known for a typical girl who loves wearing branded clothing and takes food pics. But dont worry i will always give my honest thoughts on stuff i do and did. Plus, I am very professional on camera and able to give a photogenic looks naturally. Hihi!
4. Did you have prior modelling experience before joining MMAZM?
Yes I have. Recently, I covered for @KITACIPTA online shopping site on Instagram. There are few others modelling agencies and authorities that I had been worked with such as Seri by LF, Emylyn and the brand, Royal Expert. Got my photo taken by amazing photographers like Annatasha Saifol, Lynn & Abdul and Jaihu. Dope!
5. Have your family and friends been supportive of you entering MMAZM?
My family, my mom especially is cheering for me like crazy! (Laughs) i never wanted to get into this kind stuff at first because honestly i only take photos for fun and never intended for anything fancy. Plus I always think i dont fill the requirements..
6. Who are some of the designers you would love to work with?
For our Malaysian designers, Id love to work with Rizalman and Alia Bastaman. For international ones, to walk for Chanel and LV is a dream!
7. Your favourite things to do in your free time?
I love to work out, plays with my baby cat Stitch or pamper myself with anything!! Good food is bae. Sometimes id update my youtube channel with new content
Philippines — @biancakit
1. What made you want to be a part of MMAZM?
I felt like it was a great opportunity and a good experience if ever I got chosen and also since Zalora is such a great brand, so I went for it.
2. Name three of your favourite models. Why do you look to them for inspiration?
Gisele Bundchen, Magdalena Frackowiak, and Coco Rocha. They are amazing on the runway and on print. I look to them for inspiration because they have the best editorials and to me are legendary. They each have signature runway walks and unique style and flair that shows through their editorials.
3. What makes you unique?
I think what makes me unique besides my look, since everyone has their own unique look, is that when I set a goal for myself or I set out to get something, I really give it my all and dedicate all my time and effort into it. I am also really flexible and always game to try new things and get out of my comfort zone, which I have been doing a lot of since I started modeling about a year ago.
4. Did you have prior modelling experience before joining MMAZM? If so, do share!
Yes. I’ve walked for runway shows like Project Runway Philippines, Philippine Fashion Week, Manila Fashion Fest, and Graduation Shows for Fashion Design Students. I’ve also done some shoots for magazines and lookbooks for designers.
5. Have your family and friends been supportive of you entering MMAZM?
Yes
6. Who are some of the designers you would love to work with?
Internationally, I love Jason Wu, and Oliver Rousteing of Balmain. Their collections are amazing. Locally, Cheetah Rivera, whose designs I am in love with, and whom I actually already walked for during Manila Fashion Fest.
7. Your favourite things to do in your free time?
In my free time I would be found either catching up on tv series, or reading a book.
