Tokyo Fashion Group — Kodz, Mayuki, Yoco
Launched in 2004, Tokyo Fashion Group is aimed at providing women with the latest of Korean and Japanese fashion. Since then, they have risen to the international stage with their collections of unique apparel from the 3 brands under their arms; namely Kodz, Mayuki and Yoco. Kodz is a collaboration of Tokyo Fashion and Kaiwo and its collection comprises of sleek and contemporary designs for the modern woman that are able to take her from afternoon chic to evening magnificence. Mayuki boasts of a collection of sophisticated office wear with styles that exude elegance and sophistication. Backed by a design team that are focused on new designs every week, it takes care of every women’s daily conundrum of what to wear. Yoco is a fashion label that is all about fun, flirty and feminine. With a range of women’s apparel that encompasses rompers to maxi dresses for summer, they have become a must have brand for every woman’s summer wardrobe.

1. What made you want to be a part of MMAZM?
I believed that it will be the one of the fantastic chapter to my life journey. Also, Build up the confidence and get more experience on modelling are the main purpose. However, learning more about myself is also important. Of course, to step up of my comfort zone and challenge my limited.
2. Name three of your favourite models. Why do you look to them for inspiration?
Liu Wen, who has a strong Eastern face and the top of the Chinese model. She did lots of charity and reminded people to save the water.
Second, Cara Delevingne, she is not tall as a model, but she always surprising and funny when she is modelling or on the runway. In addition, she is a lesbian and encourages people should follow their heart but not the gossips.
Third, Doutzen Kroes, who are a mother of two kids and married to a black race husband. Also, she is an elephant lover and appeals people to protect elephant such as stop buying the elephant teeth. She raised the social, environment issues and equitable.
All three, for me they are not only a model. They use their ability and strength to protect and save our world, influence others and be an inspirer. They are the real life role model and I’m very adore the three of them.
3. What makes you unique?
Every single moment makes today me. That’s unique. There is no direct method to achieve goals or be a good person. I think everyone is unique, because we have our own story, experience, and meet different people.
4. Did you have prior modelling experience before joining MMAZM? If so, do share!
I started modelling in 2 years ago, I had some print shootings with local Magazines, such as EastTouch, Milk, Ketchup and Metropop HK etc. Also, I did some catwalk show with commercial companies, for example, OFFTHEWALL HK, Shiseido Hair show, IT X SKECHERS, KATHY LAM STUDIO and Nike.
5. Have your family and friends been supportive of you entering MMAZM?
Of course! They fully support me to join the MMAZM. I think you would very proud of me if I become the Zalora Model.
6. Who are some of the designers you would love to work with?
Victoria Beckham, Vera Wang, Jean-Paul Gaultier
7. Your favourite things to do in your free time?
I love to take photo for collecting moment. I love to sweat, I go running and play basketball in my spare time, sometimes I will go sunbath as well. Moreover, I love to read and writing Chinese literature.

1. What made you want to be a part of MMAZM?
The things made me want to be a part of MMAZM because I’d love to try new challenges and experienced also wanted build my personality especially in this kind of industry. For me Zalora can be my first step to achieve my dream, because I’m big fan of this products as well. So I knew, become part of this company will be such a huge advantages for me.
2. Name three of your favourite models. Why do you look to them for inspiration?
Kimmy J, Laura B, and Zoe Zaldana. I look to them for inspirations because for me they’re all have they’re own strong personality and style that make them look different from others.
3. What makes you unique?
Things makes me unique is my face and my jaw line, some told me if I am small but sexy.
4. Did you have prior modelling experience before joining MMAZM? If so, do share!
I have some experienced, but I never joined with any agency model before. I start learn this modelling industry when I was at highschool then continued it at highschool. Even right now working become Architecture Interior Designer Consultant, I’m still took some modelling jobs at weekend. I’ve been being a model for accessories designer, clothing line and magazine at Surabaya. Since I’m quite new at Jakarta, I’m not accepted any model jobs here yet.
5. Have your family and friends been supportive of you entering MMAZM?
Yes, my family and my friends been supportive of me entering MMAZM.
6. Who are some of the designers you would love to work with?
Anne Avantie, Peggy Hartanto, Alexander McQueen, Ellie Sahab.
7. Your favourite things to do in your free time?
Travel: beach, new food, new place ; Reading a book; Sun bathing at my balcony; Stay at home: relaxing, sleeping; Latin dance as my workout: salsa dance and bachata; adventure: paragliding, hiking; photo hunting with my polaroid camera, hang out with friends.

1. What made you want to be a part of MMAZM?
Modeling has always been a passion of mine, and I’m pretty much always on Zalora looking for wardrobe upgrades! So when Zalora announced a model search- it was the perfect opportunity for me to get the best of both worlds and put my face out there!
2. Name three of your favourite models. Why do you look to them for inspiration?
Tyra Banks, Cara Delevigne, Ashley Graham! They have their own unique style- and have added to the fashion/beauty industry by each bringing an element of their own individuality to the table. They are (undoubtedly) so versatile to be able to model for all sorts of different brands, and have definitely challenged the industry’s “norms”.
3. What makes you unique?
I’m a rule breaker. I like challenging what’s been set, and I go for what I want regardless of what anyone says. I may not be the tallest of girls, but I’m passionate about what I want and when I am, I’m the best I can be.
4. Did you have prior modelling experience before joining MMAZM? If so, do share!
Yes! I’ve been modeling since I was 14 years old. I’ve joined a bunch of modeling contests and won some too (yay!) I’ve also done shoots for magazines, ads and commercials. I recently placed 3rd Runner Up in the Miss Universe Malaysia pageant, and have since been on TV and radio, which all involve lots of photoshoots- so the camera really is a friend of mine!
5. Have your family and friends been supportive of you entering MMAZM?
Definitely. I’ve got a brilliant support system. They always encourage me to go for what I want!
6. Who are some of the designers you would love to work with?
Well locally- Jimmy Choo, Melinda Looi, Bernard Chandran, and Farah Khan! Their shows are out of this world. Internationally- Chanel, Alexander Wang, Elie Saab, Balmain, Bottega Veneta, Versace, Dior… the list is pretty much endless. Ah well- a girl can dream.
7. Your favourite things to do in your free time?
I’m very artsy. I sing, I dance, I teach dance too so I love choreographing new routines, I am a foodie though so dessert hunting, and I’m a pop culture/fashion freak- so I’m on instagram a lot 😂

1. What made you want to be a part of MMAZM?
The prize for the contest seemed really cool, especially having the chance to travel for free seems awesome.
2. Name three of your favourite models. Why do you look to them for inspiration?
Soo Joo, Fernanda Ly, & Kiko Mizuhara. Besides the fact they’re skills are A++++ theyre my inspo when it comes to modeling because i love how much character they give off, they’re really distinct. I mean like when you see them somehow their look stands out apart from other models
3. What makes you unique?
My look is very un conventional in terms of how models would usually look like. My hair is blonde and i have asian features. Most people think I’m Korean or Japanese but I’m actually half taiwanese and filipino.
4. Did you have prior modelling experience before joining MMAZM? If so, do share!
Yes I’ve been doing shoots for fashion editorials for magazines in the philippines.

Yes they are very supportive haha

1. What made you want to be a part of MMAZM?
I happened to chance upon MMAZM and it only dwelled on me during 1–2 days before the deadline. It was a great opportunity to put my self out there and be able to experience diffferent styles when donning on different clothes to portray various character. Most importantly I’m doing something that I like and that makes me happy

yeah, especially my parents they are always behind me in pursuing such modelling dreams

if I ever get any, I’ll probably be shopping online else I would be studying!
