Milan was awash with colour as fashionistas flocked to see the shows in their brightest, brashest pieces — all of which were bang-on-trend and ever so stylish. Coats were colour-blocked, printed, tie-dyed, printed and splattered, while others were carefully co-ordinated with the layered pieces underneath. A more playful approach to fashion was evident in pieces that sported Mickey Mouse with additional pompoms added to his outfit, knitted Missoni bears on jumpers, and handbags shaped as milk cartoons. Fur was also a major element on the streets; fur-cuffed arms on jackets, accessories on handbags and even the inner soles of shoes had the addition of fur.
