The 3 Trends For Spring

With Fashion Week about to start we look ahead and say hello to the trends which you’ll be wearing in the months to come with a little guidance from Wallis.

THE 70’S

The 70’s trend was huge last season and it continues to be for Spring 2016. Instead of flares and crochet, it is all about a striking colour palette of terracotta and burnt orange. By combining them with chic navy pieces and the occasional spot of neutral hues, the trend becomes more wearable and relaxed. The use of embellished statement jackets and geometric prints really get underway this season whilst intricately embroidered tops and lace-up details give a modern edge to the collection.

SAFARI

The timeless safari trend is updated by mixing classic khaki & tan tones with tropical prints and sumptuous suedes for a glamorous take on this trend. Billowing duster jackets and jumpsuits keep it feminine but with a utility edge whilst the neutral palette are accentuated with tropical prints ensuring the pieces are both on trend and wearable.

MONOCHROME

The clean block monochrome trend of black vs white continues for Spring 2016 by including a variety of neutral and dark shades such as ecru, granite and ebony. Minimal no-fuss monochrome travels through culottes and long-line blazer styled effortlessly. Tailored pieces in nudes and pastels are paired with chiffon and botanical prints to create an elegant, yet all together modern romantic statement.
