香港雖然並非位於活躍的地震帶,但偶爾都會感受到微震,多數來自鄰近地區地震傳至本港,例如清遠地震、河源地震,震度好似「小型貨車駛過」,影響相對有限。若突然發生較強烈地震(對上一次是1918年汕頭地震),以下地震保命3招學起來,掌握正確的逃生SOP,萬一天災發生都能保護自己和身邊人。

地震發生時人在室內,首先保持冷靜,不要急著逃到戶外,而是應該立即採取「趴下、掩護、穩住」保命三步驟,保持低姿態,避免被搖晃中倒塌的物品擊中。地震發生時最重要就是保護頭頸部避免受傷,盡量躲在桌下或是牆角,護著頭頸部。若躲在桌子下方,可捉緊桌腳直至地震結束。
切記,除非你的頭頂有物品掉落的潛在風險,甚至已經開始有物品掉落,例如吊燈、吊扇,否則趴下後就不要再移動,待震動停止後再檢查安全。
萬一真的需要移動,一旦爬離危險位置就立即停下,並尋找下一個掩護地,直到地震結束。
若在睡夢中發生地震,千萬不要急著離開張床,應該轉身臉部朝下趴著,雙腳縮起,用枕頭保護頭部,直到地震結束為止。
若在浴室或廁所,同樣不要急著離開,盡量將身體壓低,以雙手或手邊可得的物品(例如洗臉盆)保護頭頸部,維持彎腰狀態直到地震結束。記得留意牆上鏡子或儲物櫃上的物品是不是有掉落風險。
地震保命第二招:在戶外快速移動到空曠地區
地震時若在戶外,快速移動到空曠地區,盡量遠離建築物、樹木、招牌、電線桿等可能傾斜倒塌的物體。同時拿起隨身物品保護頭頸部,若無則用雙手保護頭部。切記隨時留意附近有沒有潛在會掉落的物品,避免受傷。
地震保命第三招:家有嬰幼兒一樣執行「趴下、掩護、穩住」
若家中有小朋友,在地震發生時同樣執行「趴下、掩護、穩住」保命三步驟,並盡量保護小朋友的頭頸部。
